Basic Functions:

The SEO Content Writer is a valuable member of our SEO Team. This position interviews clients and writes SEO friendly website content for our customers, inclusive of landing pages, blog articles and press releases. Ensures content is relevant and aims to satisfy customer requests in a timely fashion. A strategic and creative thinker, this person is energized by the challenge of researching, analyzing and understanding our customer’s marketing strategy and delivering compelling content on their website.

Essential Duties:

• Obtains accurate client landing page targeting strategy via phone interview and creates custom content for client’s specified landing pages.
• Solid understanding of search engine SEO friendly content principles and concepts
• Write effective call-to-action statements.
• Write original, powerful SEO content for blogs, press releases, and websites.
• Engages in detailed client conversations ensuring a positive customer experience.
• Works with clients to ensure client is satisfied with content provided and able to make editorial changes in content as needed.
• Familiar with CMS systems and posting content to customer websites
• Coordinate with the SEO team to boost customer’s organic search rankings
• Interpret Google analytics and internal reporting software for SEO measurements.
• Discuss and explain reporting metrics with clients as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Abilities:

• Ability to develop SEO friendly written content on client subject matters
• Able to write unique content for similar subject matters.
• Interprets reports and updates monthly content for clients as needed Ability to use his/her time effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to meet the expectations and requirements of external and internal customers, acts with customers in mind at all times.
• Must have excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to use multiple online measurement tools to research website performance.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime as needed.

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years’ experience writing.
• Technology industry experience preferred.

Location

This role is office-based in our Temecula, CA headquarters (not available for tele-commuting).
