Digital Project Manager

The Role

The role of a Digital Project Manager is to bring teams together to make things happen – it’s all about leading, empowering, facilitating and communicating. High attention to detail, well organized, a skilled multi-tasker and an over communicator. The digital project manager nudges a project along and keeps things on track. Ultimately, you should be able to manage and deliver a projects’ digital lifecycle within quality, time and budget requirements.

Key Management Areas of Responsibility

• Ensure SEO, social media and paid advertising projects are assigned on time
• Develop projects, templates and client facing deliverables; met with quality and efficiency
• Develop support documentation including risk reports and requirement specifications
• Communicate with teams and confirm all members understand delegated tasks
• Communicate to departments and executives on project development, timelines, and results

Key Functional Areas of Responsibility:

• Project assignment of all new SEO, social media and paid advertising accounts
• Evaluate and execute project reassignment dependent on scope, staffing and client requirements
• Keep management informed of backlog and plan of action to bring past-due projects current
• Highlight potential risks or malfunctions and proactively resolve issue
• Continuously assess working methods and processes and make recommendations for improvement

Professional Competencies:

• Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically and identify and resolve problems
• Proven work experience as a project manager
• Hands on experience with project management software, like MS Project, Asana
• Familiarity with Content Management Systems
• Solid technical background with an ability to address compatibility issues
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Communication and team management skills
• High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
• 3+ years of professional experience working in an agency environment

Physical/Mental Requirements for the Job:

• Prolonged periods of seating
• May be requested to work overtime and weekends if deemed necessary
• Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds
• Certain management positions might be required to occasional travel

Location

This role is office-based in our Temecula, CA (not available for telecommuting).
