Basic Functions:

Handles all accounts receivable and billing‐related issues including collections by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties:

• Answer calls into the accounting department and screen/transfer appropriately
• Processing cc payments as necessary
• Calls/Emails on all accounts 0‐60 days past due (0‐30 (1 month) and 30‐60 days (2 months)
• Payment Arrangements on accounts in your scope (case by case and not the norm)
• Monthly notices for past due, declined cc inside your scope. Letters over 90 days to AR Specialist.
• 1 x month Presentation of accounts that are uncollectable to Lead Revenue Specialist (death, business closed, etc.)
• Billing notices returned via mail and email (contact customer to get updated information for CRM and updated Credit Card/ACH, updating accordingly.)
• Update credit cards taken over the phone, fax, billing portals, etc.
• Any call/questions/emails that come to you that are not 0‐60 collections related, transfer to AR Specialist.
• Calling on expired cc’s current month they are set to expire.
• Assist other department members as necessary
• Documentation in the Database and CRM of all customer facing activities (set regarding in emails)
• Works on account cancellations
• Other duties as necessary for department workflow/efficiency.

Location

This role is office-based in our Temecula, CA headquarters (not available for tele-commuting).
