Content Marketing Strategist

Role Summary

We are looking for a self-starter, someone who is highly motivated with effective writing and communication skills. This role requires proficiency in marketing content development, editing/proofing, copywriting for independent projects, and the ability to act as a mentor to copywriters on the team.

The Content Marketing Strategist will help to create, manage and complete projects for the content team. This role includes collaboration with the content team to develop digital marketing material across client verticals. This person has a strong understanding of content curation, recycled and repurposed content and know how to write various styles of digital content such as press releases, white papers, infographics, and social content. The best candidate will display a passion for developing/writing compelling, trendy marketing content.

Responsibilities

• Write compelling, creative digital marketing content (i.e., web pages, blogs, and Press Releases)
• Ensure consistency and accuracy of written material
• Modify or redevelop content in response to management or client feedback
• Conceptualize/brainstorm blog topics and develop engaging material to fulfill high volume content demand
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under strict deadlines
• Collaborate with designers to create trendy gifs/infographics
• Mentor copywriters to help maintain quality standards
• Other duties assigned by management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 3-5 years of digital copywriting experience preferred
• Experience with developing/curating marketing content
• Previous digital agency experience preferred
• Prior knowledge of content marketing tools, platforms, and automation preferred

Physical/Mental Requirements for the Job:

• Prolonged periods of seating
• May be requested to work overtime and weekends if deemed necessary
• Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds
• Certain management positions might be required to occasional travel

Location

This is a full-time, office-based position in our Temecula, CA or Burlington, VT offices.
