Social Media Manager

Role Summary

We are looking for a savvy strategist who stays one step ahead of social trends. You’ll be a thought leader on our team, deepening online social conversations, building engagement and brand loyalty, and enriching our earned media marketing strategies. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, crafting innovative and effective social media strategies for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of smart and creative social media strategists
• Create, execute and monitor multi-platform social and content strategies for our clients
• Develop a deep and ever-evolving understanding of internal and client objectives
• Provide insights and recommendations for social media strategies, bringing your knowledge of the newest trends and technologies to the table
• Collaborate with leaders and strategists to establish strategic roadmaps, define KPI’s, and create content calendars that achieve business objectives
• Execute strategies in a timely and detail-oriented manner, building relationships with bloggers, journalists, and social influencers to ensure the success of your work
• Analyze ongoing social media initiatives, measuring their effectiveness and reporting on results with clear, actionable insights
• Stay on top of the latest social platforms, tools, and technologies; educate our internal team and share creative ideas on how our clients could leverage them

Qualifications

• 5+ years of social media experience
• Entrepreneurial, energetic and agile
• Ability to balance day-to-day execution and big-picture, strategic thinking
• Excellent writing, copy editing and proofreading skills
• Must have experience with native social media reporting tools such as Ads Manager
• Must have experience with content design, creation, and editing.
• Must have experience with Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, or similar software.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Where you’re coming from:

• Experienced in leading creation and implementation of social media campaigns
• Comfortable interpreting data and using analytics tools to create effective marketing strategies
• Sharp-witted writer and all-around excellent communicator, able to demonstrate how social media strategy can support business and marketing objectives

Location

This is a full-time, office-based position in our Temecula, CA or Burlington, VT offices.
