Mike Ward serves as the Vice President of Marketing for ProSites. Mike brings nearly 20 years of communications and marketing experience to the company and has held leadership roles in tech companies including Adobe, Ancestry.com, Pluralsight and Workfront and most recently led demand generation and data analytics at CareerBuilder. His responsibilities have spanned all facets of marketing across public relations, digital marketing, sales development, demand generation and marketing operations and technology. Mike has a BA in broadcast journalism and MBA in marketing, both from Brigham Young University. He resides in Utah with his wife Jaime and family.
What can you be found doing outside of the office?
We are a musical theater family! With five kids (four boys and a girl) who all act and sing in musicals, my wife and I spend our time driving carpool to/from auditions, rehearsals, and performances. We love watching our kids perform!
What makes working at ProSites different than working at other website design companies?
I love the mission of the company to help community-based professionals (dentists, accountants, veterinarians and more) grow their businesses and build better relationships with their customers.
If you could have any superpower
what would it be?
Following Keith’s lead on choosing an Avenger to emulate, I think I’d like to be like Captain America. He’s smart, strong and never slows down. He also represents goodness, compassion and loyalty.
What are you passionate about?
Learning. I strive to be insatiably curious and am constantly encouraging my team and my family to push themselves to learn more and to be more.
One thing you would love to do if
you had the chance?
I love going on vacations with my family. We love trips to see Broadway shows in New York, going to either Disney (Florida or Anaheim), and Hawaii. Our next big trip in a couple years will hopefully be Fiji… where my oldest son has lived as a missionary.
