In the summer of 2016, we commissioned a third party to understand the marketing habits of U.S. based dental practices. The resulting insights give a clear view of how dentists spend their marketing dollars and what strategies work best in helping them grow their practice.
Key findings include:
- Over half of dental practice’ marketing efforts – and marketing budgets – are invested in online marketing.
- Word of mouth marketing remains the number one method for finding new patients, closely followed by having a practice website and social media usage.
- About 50% of respondents currently use an online marketing provider, because of the providers’ perceived expertise and the desire to save time and increase efficiency.
