Key findings include:

  • Over half of dental practice’ marketing efforts – and marketing budgets – are invested in online marketing.
  • Word of mouth marketing remains the number one method for finding new patients, closely followed by having a practice website and social media usage.
  • About 50% of respondents currently use an online marketing provider, because of the providers’ perceived expertise and the desire to save time and increase efficiency.
